Understanding the Elements of Architecture Architecture is everywhere; it affects our daily experience of a street, neighbourhood, and city -- often subconsciously. Buildings can positively affect our experience of a place and raise our spirits. Conversely, a building can make us feel uneasy or even intimidated.
