Climate Change and Growing Extreme Weather Risk: Canada Must Adapt, NOW

Floods, fire in forested regions, lethal extreme heat, and a growing list of climate change driven risks can seem daunting.  However, Canada has been developing guidelines, that if applied with a sense of urgency today, could limit unmanageable risks of tomorrow.  This presentation will outline practical and cost-effective “all of society” solutions to counter the impacts of extreme weather.
